Happy Place
Chaos in life is all around us, and to some extent we all feed from it. However, we all need a zone where we can distance ourselves from the chaos and build walls of separation from it. A personal space that is yours, fun, safe and happy. Everyone needs a Happy Place.
The infamous Mister Woo smiley appears in its own box on all Happy Place art with every smiley being unique. All Happy Place work is hand painted using various techniques.

Chaos Catcher
A derivative of Happy Place art. Almost an explanation, a graphic story of how chaos in life can be caught and controlled. We need chaos in our lives but we also need to know where it is and how we are being influenced by it. Hence, this work is a graphic visualisation on how the happiness can control or ‘catch’ the chaos.
All Chaos Catchers have various styles of paint splatter that represent the chaos. Graphic variations of ‘Smiley’ in action out of his comfort zone or ‘box’ whilst he tackles the chaos behind his signature X.

Borderline
Mister Woo will not be beaten by an unfamiliar method of art. Borderline work test the patience of artist preparation to the point of breaking. Perfectly straight lines or uneven mess representing various life experiences, abstractly.
Many work in this collection crossed the line and didn’t make it.
